Cost
I saw on the news the other day how the same house in different areas of the country can have a significant cost difference. Of course, this isn't really a suprise to anyone but it's still interesting to see that a four bedroom 2300 square foot house in San Fran, will cost almost $500,000 but will go for about $120,000 in Lansing Michigan.Let's say you have a good job in San Fran and your company get's moved to Lansing. You take your $350,000 in equity and start house shopping. Can you imagine how much house and land you could get for the same price? Pretty amazing. Probably not much less than your cheap hotels miami. You could probably buy your own high rise!
