I Wonder
I have no idea if this is possible but it just popped into my head. I wonder if there is any way that a pro athlete can get disability insurance to cover him if he gets hurt and can't collect his paycheck?I'm sure said insurance would be very high in cost given athletic contracts and the risk level of an athlete getting hurt but I wonder if anyone has ever tried it? My guess is no because I can't see a way that the insurance company could consistently turn a profit and frankly I've never heard of any such thing and I listen to a lot of sports talk radio.
A curious thought though. It's hard to tell what people might try to pull off.
