More Pills
I get discouraged when I think about all the money that people are spending on diet drugs. Firstly, they are not going to get sustainable, healthy results from that. They are looking for a quick fix, and as is typical with quick fixes, there are generally side effects. I haven't read any
orovo detox reviews, but just the headlines make it sound like something to avoid. Frankly, though, you won't see me taking any diet pills in place of gym time. I value my time in the gym and it makes me happy knowing that not only am I doing something fun, but I'm benefiting me in the process.
What Is It?
In today's edition of what is it, we are discussing
Fentraphen. At first glance it sounds like a diet drug, and frankly I'd be willing to give it about at 95% chance of in fact, being a diet drug, but that takes all the fun out of it. What else might make up the remaining 5% of possibilities? Well, my first thought is that it is some sort of hidden message telling someone named Fen to contain a chicken. I'll give that a solid 3% of likelihood. Next up is the possibility of it being a word scramble puzzle. I can already see that "he fart" is in there, so I must be close to the solution. I'll give that a 1% chance. The last 1% I will give back to the diet drug. That has to be it.
Dots
Signs are an obvious and important part of business. Duh, but they can be expensive, especially if you have a lot of changing signs, like a grocery store or car dealership. It seems logical then, that a lot of companies have started using
digital signage. You pay more, once, but from then on you have one sign that says whatever you need it to. It seems like a pretty obvious and smart way around the problem, especially given that the difference between the cost has come down a lot I would have to guess. Better technology is more of an option for companies now, than it ever used to be.
Want To Lose Fat?
People all over the place are looking for, sadly, the
best fat burners in pill form. They try this diet and then that diet and then they eat less carbs and do cardio and then they lift a few weights and drink some protein and never really ever stick to anything, or if they do, they don't know why they are doing it, and they are getting no results. And then they give up and turn to pills.
There is just one thing you need to know:
Burn more than you eat.
Now, accomplishing that in a healthy and safe way is the hard part, but there aren't any shortcuts. I recommend the
Afterburn program if you're serious. If you're not, then go back to the couch and keep dreaming. You're going to have to work for it. There isn't a magic pill so put down the pizza and pick up a barbell.
Pumped
I am very happy to be back in the gym. I'm still working my way back to the weight I was throwing around before I got hurt but at least I'm back. Hopefully the time off didn't set me back too far in my goals of being ripped by my birthday. I have been working out for a while but I have been trying so many things that I don't think that I ever was really consistent enough. So my goal is to stick to lower reps and big movements that use lots of muscles and always try to lift more than last time. Then in the spring I'm going to do some interval sprinting routines to shred the fat before summer. We'll see if it works out for me. Later.
Things I Don't Need To Know Yet: Part 2
Since I no longer have time for movies. I don't need to think much about lighting. I also don't need to think much about
home theater seating. My idea of home theater seating is my couch. It works great. It's soft, comfortable, and conveniently placed directly in front of my TV. All the makings of home theater perfection as far as I'm concerned. Thankfully I thought ahead and put the TV and couch in the same room. I'm good like that.
Things I Don't Need To Know Yet: Part 1
I love to watch movies. What was the last movie I saw? I can't remember because I don't have time anymore. I have kids and they are far more important to me than the latest blockbuster so I just don't get to see many. Thank goodness for the free dvd's from the library program or I might never see some of the ones that I am interested in from time to time. So things like
home theater lighting don't require my research at this point in time. Instead I spend more time reading up on the latest car seats.
