Health Insurance

I realized something not long ago that I had never thought of before. The average cigar smoker probably pays a lot more in health insurance than the rest of us. It never dawned on me that those folks had to list themselves as smokers just like the cigarette folks.

So even if you only smoked one of your best cheyenne cigars a couple times a year on the golf course, you are paying as much for insurance as someone who smokes 3 packs of cigarettes a day.

I'm not saying that I think it is unfair, just interesting. I don't smoke either so I don't have a horse in the race, but I just had never thought about the fact that the occasional cigar guy is lumped in with the chain smokers.

Scar Removal

I have heard about things such as acne scar removal before but I don't know that I ever gave it much serious thought. In my mind it was one of those things that people try but that never really works as well as they would like it to. Granted, I have no experience to back up that opinion but that is what always came to mind.

So what really does it involve? Lasers? Creams? Plastic surgery? I'm not sure that I have any scars that I want to get rid of quite that badly but I realize that there are people who do.

Motivation

It's funny how when you are truly motivated by something, it's hard to imagine how you ever went about your daily business without realizing how important that one thing was. The problem is that it can evaporate as quickly as it comes sometimes.

I've found regular exercise to be just about the best weight loss supplement for me along with eating well, and for the last 5 years, I have been extremely motivated about getting into the gym. Then for whatever reason this year I've almost completely fallen off the wagon. Where did all my motivation go? I went from about three days a week to one. I have got to figure out a way to get myself motivated again.
