Tea
I'm not a coffee drinker at all. It smells great but tastes terrible. I have, however, become a huge tea drinker. I love it. I have experimented with different types as well and I like a lot of them.
One thing I need to make an effort to do is drink more green tea because of the health benefits. Black tea is good for you too but not quite as much.
The one that I have tried that I didn't like was Earl Gray. With apologies to Captain Picard, it tasted like liquod pepper. I'm not a fan.
What are some other good ones that I could try? Let me know. I recently discovered that Chamomile and mint are pretty good.
Tired
I'm really starting to miss my workouts. It's just awfully hard to talk yourself into it when you aren't sleeping well. Our new baby is doing great but we are still in that stage where we aren't getting much sleep and I can't see how expending more energy by working out could help at all when I can't sleep to recover. I know enough now to realize that that is the recharge zone and I won't be getting enough of that to make it worth my time. I wouldn't trade all the workouts in the world for this little boy though, so I'll just have to be patient and when I start getting more sleep, I'll be back at it.

Boring Or Great?
I was thinking about jobs that could be boring and wondering if they are in fact great because you have no real duties. Take
alarm system monitoring for instance. Aside from fielding the occasional call about a false alarm and the even rarer actual alarm, you would have tons of time to do whatever you wanted. How cool would it be to just read books all day at work while still doing everything that your job requires? So what do you think, would it be boring or great? I guess it all depends on the boss, but take that out of the equation for a moment. Would you like it, or would you be bored?
The Stooges
I was searching the other day for a good Three Stooges biography to read but I couldn't find one. I prefer books on CD so that I can read in the car and use the otherwise wasted time that it takes me to drive to and from work every day. This allows me to get through tons of books that I otherwise would never have time for. I hear that the "One Fine Stooge" book by Larry Fine is a good one but I can't find it on CD. Does anyone know of a good one that I could pick up?

PGA Tour Drug Testing
At first when I heard about this, I was all for it. It seems like a great idea. I don't like cheaters any more than the rest of the world, but as I watch baseball go through scandal after scandal I'm starting to wonder if it will cause more problems than it solves. I don't think that golfers are very prone to cheating in general because of the nature of the game. They must call penalties on themselves after all, which most of them take very seriously. Plus, I can't see how drugs could drastically improve your play. Being long off the tee isn't everything because if it was, all those long drive guys would be winning all the money. Stress reducing drugs could help, but is that really cheating? I just don't want to see some poor guy get banned for an event and have his reputation called into question because he took the wrong cough medicine.

Not So Good
I haven't been doing so good on watching what I eat lately. Even when I try hard it doesn't seem to last like I used to be able to make it. I just don't seem to have the resolve I once had. I'm about 5-7 pounds above where I'd like to be but it's hard to know if maybe that is just muscle gain as I have been lifting a lot. I'm not planning to use
weight loss pills. I typically prefer old school techniques. I really need to get serious again. Hopefully when the baby starts sleeping more it will be easier to focus. I know that sounds like an excuse but believe me, I'm not ready to give up.
What are?
It's time again for another segment of what is that? This time we are discussing
billet grilles. What in the world is that? Could it be the brother of famous survival expert Bear Grylls? Or perhaps a weapon that also cooks steaks? I have no idea, and I'm sure those of you that know think that I'm pretty dumb and those of you that don't are laughing along with me. That is the nature of these sorts of things. So if you know, tell me and I will be improved by your great wisdom. Or I might laugh at you, either way I have a good time.
Sleep
Sleep is something that you don't think much about until you aren't getting any. Our new baby is doing great and so far has been a joy to have around. He is very easy going, even at night, but he is also generally awake more often than not. Not screaming and crying awake, but just awake. He stayed up with my last night until 3am watching American Gladiators and Survivorman, until at last it was time for the second shift to take over. I love how cute he is at this age and size but I will be glad when he is sleeping more, although you won't find me wishing away any time as this is going to be our last baby and I want to enjoy as much of this stage as I can.
