So Now What, indeed
My Browns are terrible and about as interesting as
diet pill reviews. To top that off, the Buckeyes lose their one big game again for something like the 6th year in a row.
My hope is that the Buckeyes can claw their way back into the national stage by year end, but considering that USC has now lost to a team that didn't win a single game last year, our strength of schedule is not going to be good.
So now what do I do? There isn't much to root for football-wise other than hoping the Bucks will beat Michigan again and win the Big Ten.
I'm just getting really tired of the Browns being bad. I really miss watching the NFL in a way that felt like I could really care because my team had a real chance.
Guys Week Out
Before I was married I had the opportunity to go on one of those "Guycations" where a group of buddies go on vacation together and have a great time.
Admittedly we were rather mild compared to what I assume most people would do in that situation. We just got one of those golf packages and played a lot of golf and hung out at the beach. Thrown in some card games and some complaining about recent events and that just about summed it up.
Still we had a good time and it was sort of a turning point in my life as right after we got back I started dating my future wife full time. It was sort of a week long bachelor party in a way.
Bolt
I still can't believe how fast Usain Bolt is. It is unreal that someone in this day and age of micromanaged athletes can be THAT much faster than everyone else. The progress in sprinting is usually measured in hundreths of seconds not tenths. It makes you wonder about steroids or an
hgh supplement.
I really want to believe that it is real because I'm a fan of sport and I want to see exciting things like this, but because of recent events, I will always have to wonder. In the mean time, I'm just going to enjoy it.
