Coffee

I don't know anything about coffee. I don't drink it although I do like the smell. So for instance, if someone asked me to blog about mochachino, I might either say "bless you" or just stare at them as if they are speaking french klingon. The other option is that I might blog about it in such a way as to make it kind of funny. I could make a joke out of the fact that I don't know anything about coffee. I could write some funny line about the type of coffee sounding like a sneeze, and then make up a fake language that sounded funny. That might work but hopefully I will think of something better.

Recurring Vacations

How often do you go on vacation to someplace you've already been? We've done it a few times. I know a guy who's family goes to the Outer Banks every summer. I can understand the nostalgia of going to the same place all the time and part of me thinks that it would be better to go and see someplace new. It's a big world and we only have so many vacations on which to see it all. Next year we are re-vacationing to a place we have been once already. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to it. It's hard not to enjoy time with family and see the sites. We will also get to go white water rafting which I have never done. I'm hoping that in the future we can afford to try some new things. There are a lot of places that I would love to see.

Curtains

I don't have the money for this type of thing but I'm guessing that anyone that can afford to buy custom curtains probably doesn't have to worry about too much in the financial realm. It just seems to me that something like that is so far down the list that if you actually can buy them, it's because you've bought everything else above them on the list and are running out of ideas. Maybe if you are one of those people and you can't figure out what to spend your money on, just let me know and I can give you a few ideas. :)

Racking My Brain

Does any ever actually use the van rack on top your car? I have had several cars with that option and have never used it. The combo of rain ruining my luggage and the extra top heaviness have always deterred me from messing with it. I figure it used to be more popular but I just can't see the need for it now. It just seems like a silly thing to do even if you only factor in the fact that you are making your car more top heavy. Why give yourself more of a chance of being in an accident if you don't have to? I guess I just don't get it.

Life

I recently read something about the difference between total and term life insurance. I didn't understand it. I know that I have a policy through work and that's all I'm going to get. Supposedly, there is a big advantage to the salesman for whole and that term is way better for the buyer. I don't really know what the difference is. Obviously someone found a way to complicate all of this to a degree but it's not something I plan on worrying about or trying to figure out.
